Transfer news LIVE: Man Utd want £150m duo, Klopp on Liverpool future, Neymar talks Barca

Willian on Chelsea future

Willian has told Chelsea that he wants to stay at the club where he has enjoyed a “perfect” career.

He said: “From my side, I want to stay. I have one year left and I want to stay because I like to play for Chelsea.

“I love this club, I love to live in London and my family loves it here. I have been here six years already so everything is perfect for me. Of course there is more I want to do at Chelsea, win the Champions League!

“I want to win more titles here, I want to play more games, to score more goals so everything that I can do, I will try hard to do.”

Man Utd eyeing £150m double deal

Manchester United are ready to go all out for Jadon Sancho and James Maddison next summer.

ESPN say United are eyeing a £150m double deal for the Borussia Dortmund and Leicester stars.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to bring young British talent to Old Trafford.

The Red Devils signed Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James this summer.

Klopp on Liverpool future

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp insists his agent was joking when saying the British weather would affect his decision to sign a new contract.

“He wanted to make a joke,” Klopp said. “I have to be serious. German humour, nobody got it. The weather was never a reason for me to choose a city.

“It’s not a reason for me to leave the country. Maybe at the moment it’s the most healthy weather in the world – we have enough rain, it’s cool, pretty much the opposite of this room!

“There’s nothing in that story. He’s my agent and my friend.”

Neymar wanted Barcelona transfer

PSG star Neymar has admitted he wanted to join Barcelona during the transfer window for ‘personal reasons’.

“Everyone knows I wanted to leave,” he said. “I made it very clear. I won’t go into details though, because it affects others.

“But I’m still a PSG player and my intention is to be happy on the pitch. My mind is on PSG.

“I always made it clear that I don’t have anything against PSG or the fans. They were personal reasons. I had my reasons and I tried my best to make it happen, but unfortunately they didn’t let me.”
