Michelle Obama sparks Twitter outrage as more prices revealed for new tour – 'Hard pass!'

The speaking events which have been named “Moderated Conversation” have ticket prices of over £3000. The cheapest prices for one of the events at the Prudential Centre on Ticketmaster are $144 (£115.14).

But the floor seat prices hike up to around $1300 (£1039.50).

While a meet and greet ticket with the former FLOTUS fetches up to around $2500 (£1999.04).

The most expensive of the tickets available is $4200 (£3358.38) for a suite level ducat.

However, Michelle’s New Jersey tour stop is offering a $5000 (£4004.20) VIP package for two people.

The VIP package includes refreshments at her talk while getting a chance to pose with Michelle.

To purchase the VIP package, you have to buy two at the same time which is why the price tag is so hefty.

VIP ticket holders can also get a free copy of Michelle’s biography, ‘Becoming’.

She is expected to touch down in New Jersey on November 3.

“Most overhyped person in US history.

“What exactly has she ever done besides marry Barack Obama who in turn has accomplished very little.”

The Prudential Centre said in a statement about the tour: “As a transformative First Lady, Mrs. Obama launched and led four key initiatives: Let’s Move!, to address the challenge of childhood obesity; Joining Forces, to support veterans, service members and their families; Reach Higher, to inspire young people to seek higher education; and Let Girls Learn, to help adolescent girls around the world go to school.”

Michelle is expected to make five other stops in Canada and one in Texas from September 23.

The conversation moderator will be revealed later on.

Michelle went on a similar speaking tour last year to promote her memoir.

Before becoming First Lady, Michelle attended Princeton University and Harvard Law School.

She had a career as an attorney at a Chicago Law firm called Sidley & Austin, where he also met her husband Barack Obama.

She then worked at the Chicago mayor’s office, the University of Chicago and the University of Chicago Medical Centre.

Her best-selling memoir sold more copies than any other book published in the US in 2018.
