Reported first by BET.com, Khloe Kardashian has been on the receiving end of some social media vitriol after her September 9/11 remembrance tweet sparked somewhat of a backlash online. On the 11th of September, Khloe said she was “proud to be Armenian,” on the day that people in the United States lost their lives.
Fans of reality television’s most popular family know that the Kardashians have Armenian origins, and they have the right to be proud of what they want, however, the choice of timing is what many fans considered to be poor.
For the most part, fans were simply upset by the fact Khloe was expressing pride in her heritage on a day that was meant for the American nation, however, Khloe’s tweet didn’t seem to be anti-American or insulting in any way.
Regardless, Khloe and the rest of the Kar-Jenner clan are more than aware of the fact many people on social media often take things the wrong way, or perhaps even downright misunderstand things on purpose for the sake of outrage.
Furthermore, Khloe, along with her sisters, are frequently the targets of online harassers who point out all kinds of things about them. One fan, in particular, asked Khloe why her baby was “so black.” Khloe responded by stating that her daughter was “beautiful.”
As fans of the Revenge Body co-host know, Khloe has a child with the basketball player, Tristan Thompson, who was busted cheating on her near the beginning of the year for the second time. Tristan was spotted by one of Khloe’s friends at his party kissing Jordyn Woods, the best friend of Kylie Jenner.
It was the straw that broke the camel’s back in terms of their romance, and Khloe finally chose to call it off for good. Moreover, the broken relationship had other effects on the family as well, including Kylie, who had to say “goodbye” to her friend Jordyn indefinitely.

During one episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kylie said she realized the importance of family and that just maybe, she was relying on her friendship with Jordyn just a little too much. Regardless of past squabbles, this won’t be the last time that someone on social media is angry with the Kardashians.
