The Atlanta Falcons will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Georgia on Sunday night and Express Sport is on hand to take you though how to keep up with the action live.
This NFL Week 2 clash will see the Eagles trying to go to 2-0 while the Falcons look to pick themselves up from an opening weekend defeat to the Minnesota Vikings.
Philadelphia’s quarterback Carson Wentz will be looking to reproduce his form against the Washington Redskins, where he completed 28 of his 39 pass attempts for 313 yards and three touchdowns, as the Eagles won 32-27.
Whereas Atlanta’s quarterback Matt Ryan will try to reduce the number of turnovers, as he completed 33 of his 46 pass attempts for 304 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in Week 1.
And Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones insisted this weeks preparation “feels right” after last the disappointment of last week.
“Guys flying around, we’re really competing against each other, regardless of offence or defence,” Jones said.
“Getting us game ready, we have to do more of that. The energy, we don’t let one game define us.
“Each day we’re just trying to stack days.”
But Eagles coach Doug Pederson isn’t taking anything for granted when his team travel to Atlanta on Sunday.
“I still think this is a very good football team,” Pederson said.
“No indication this past weekend, that’s not who they are at all.
“This is a good, explosive offence as we know. Defensively, they can be very disruptive.
“They’ve got speed on defence; Grady Jarrett is one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL. This is a playoff-caliber team.”
