Stranger Things season 4: Shock new character to save Hopper as Russian plot intensifies?

Stranger Things fans can’t get enough of the Netflix Sci-fi after the dramatic events of season three saw Hopper (played by David Harbour) disappear into the Upside Down.

The fate of the character is unknown after Joyce Byers (Winona Ryder) shut the gate to save the rest of Hawkins.

Many fans suspect that Hopper is The American who the Russians were revealed to have imprisoned in the post-credits scene.

However, one Reddit user thinks it is Brennar who is alive and being held captive by the Russians.

Reddit user MR_F1f1 began: “A 10-year-old Russian boy starting with ‘B’ will be introduced.

“He’ll have some mind-related superpower like El, and his number will be, or should be, 013, He’s the person who, following the orders of the evil Russian superiors and the instructions of Dr. Brenner — the American prisoner, opened the gate in Russia.”

Could Brennar be The American and have opened the gate?

The fan continued: “He’ll be like the new Alexei, a sweet, innocent guy who wins the hearts of all the viewers.

In the last episode when El, and all the other numbers she’s gathered such as 007, 009, 010, and 012 come together and travel to the Upside Down to rescue Hop”

With Eleven’s powers gone, could a new supernatural child be the one to save Hopper?

The user added: “the Russian boy will work close alongside El in battle, and will make the ultimate sacrifice to kill the Mind Flayer and save everyone.”

Could Eleven have some competition?

Moreover, The fan explained the reasoning behind the name B in an eerie death clue.

The fan commented: “Every season someone starting with ‘B’ died — Benny, Barb, Bob, Billy. He’ll be the ‘B’ of season 4.”

Meanwhile, Max star Sadie Sink may have just revealed where the show is heading next.

Sadie Sink recently spoke to Entertainment Tonight about the upcoming fourth season, and what she wants to see from the supernatural drama.

“I just want to see them in high school,” Sadie told the publication. “Being normal kids.

“I feel like that’s what all of us want at this point. We’ve been through enough, let them have a break.”

Although she wouldn’t reveal exactly what was going on in season four, she quipped: “I’m excited to see what they do in the next season”.

Stranger Things series 3 is now available to stream on Netflix.
