Meghan Markle wears high street collection and £563 shoes as she returns from maternity

Meghan Markle has officially returned to work today after enjoying her time on maternity leave. She has been on leave since the months before giving birth to her son, Archie Harrison, who was born in May this year. The Duchess of Sussex opted for a smart look as she wore her own collection to the launch of her new clothing line. She was spotted wearing a crisp white shirt, black trousers and Princess Diana’s bracelets as she headed to the John Lewis store on Oxford Street.

Meghan dressed smart for her first day back at work wearing a fitted white shirt which was tucked into her trousers.

She rolled up her sleeves and left a few buttons undone in the tailored look.

Meghan matched this with a pair of mid-rise A-line black trousers which cut off at the ankle.

Her look was pulled together with a £85 Ralph Lauren brown belt which had a gold buckle.

Meghan matched the design with a pair of closed toe suede brown high heel Manolo Blahnik pumps, on sale for £563.

Meghan appeared out to show off her new clothing line which focuses on designing a working wardrobe.

The Duchess and Smart Works collaborated with British fashion brands and designers including John Lewis and Partners, Marks and Spencer, Jigsaw and Misha Nonoo.

Among the designs in the collection, Meghan has focused on picking pieces which are essential for those going for an interview or starting a job.

She showed her charitable side as for every item sold, another will be given to a woman to help them get back into work.

As she attended the event, Meghan looked ready for business as she modelled pieces from her own collection.

She dressed up the look with a collection of gold bangles around her right wrist which reportedly once belonged to Princess Diana.

The Duchess wore her long locks down and styled into a middle pattern and she opted for a simple makeup look.

Last week, she stepped out wearing a casual denim dress as she attended the final of the US Open.

The stylish dress was from J. Crew and cost a modest £132, and the royal paired this with a grey cardigan coat.

Meghan wore her hair down and gave it a bit of volume by styling it into a slight curl.
