It turns out that Kate Hudson is not planning on tying the knot with her beau, Danny Fujikawa anytime soon. Here’s what she had to say about that!
While in attendance at the Michael Kors Collection Spring 2020 Runway Show at New York Fashion Week, the actress chatted with ET about various topics, including the fact that her brother Wyatt Russell, got married earlier in the month.
Kate described the ceremony of Russell and his now-wife Meredith Hagner as ‘beautiful’ but that’s not to say it made her want to tie the knot as well.
When asked about her plans to marry Fujikawa, the star was quick to reject the idea.
‘Oh god! I’m not thinking about that. Yeah, especially after one wedding, you are like, ‘Whew!’ It is a lot of work but yeah, just not anytime soon but I love the man!’
The two have been together since 2017 but have known one another for more than a decade!
Furthermore, last October they also became the parents of baby Rani.
Speaking of, Kate mentioned that ‘This is my first trip away from Rani. It is a little … I was like, ‘Whew!’ So, I’m in and out. So, I came in for my girl [her good friend Michael Kors] and then I leave literally in a couple of hours.’
Hudson also has two sons, 8 and 15, so there is no doubt that taking care of all three kids is hard work and keeps her schedule full.
The actress previously took to social media to share a clip of the family singing the Happy Birthday song to her brother, Oliver.
Seeing this, her oldest, Ryder, joked that he had not been asked for permission before sharing the footage that featured him as well.
Hudson made sure to gush over how ‘hilarious’ he is, adding with a laugh that ‘He’s good at that. He’s cheeky like that.’
But she also stressed that he doesn’t get a say over what she posts or not, yet – if ever!

‘Not until they are out of the house. Actually, they’ll never get final say. It just doesn’t work that way, you know.’
