Fortnite update 10.30 delayed: Borderlands 3 event ending with new patch and downtime?

UPDATE: Fortnite update 10.30 server downtime may have started, but the patch notes are nowhere to be seen.

ORIGINAL: Fortnite fans only have a few hours left to complete the Borderlands-themed Mayhem challenges.

According to an in-game countdown timer, the Fortnite Welcome to Pandora challenges will be removed at 2pm UK time.

The challenges will be removed alongside update 10.30, which appears to have been delayed.

Update 10.30 was expected to go live at 9am UK time, but may have been pushed back until 2pm BST, to coincide with the end of the event.

Expect an announcement from Epic Games later today, alongside plans for downtime and update 10.30 patch notes.

As part of the crossover event, fans can complete a variety of challenges to unlock new items.

Fans are encouraged to collect cash from chests and opponents in Pandora, eliminate opponents and gain shields.

Fortnite fans can also earn rewards by finding Vault Symbols as part of the Welcome to Pandora Borderlands event.

Another interesting challenge tasks players with finding Claptrap’s missing eye and then returning it to him.

Completing the challenges unlocks a variety of rewards, including sprays, weapon skins and XP.
