The relationship known as ‘Bellarke’ is one of the most ‘shipped’ couplings in The 100 universe, which will come to an end with season seven next year on The CW. Whereas Clarke and Bellemy are engaged in the books (that have taken a very different path from the Amazon Prime show), in the series they have a more complicated relationship. Bob Morley, who plays Bellamy in the series, has recently spoke about the romantic potential between the pair.
Will Clarke and Bellamy have a romance in The 100 season 7?
In a recent press event for the series, Bob Morley seemed to rule out any romance between Clarke and Bellamy.
He said there were “too many landmines” between them for love to blossom.
He also said of their relationship: “It’s a work in progress, as it is most seasons.
“The challenge of trying to do the right thing and even trying to define what the right thing is and the “good guy” terminology is in a new planet where everything’s new basically.”

Showrunner Jason Rothenberg has also said that the pair are platonic in the past.
However, there is some chance that their relationship will change in the final series, giving fans what they want before the show ends.
In the books The 100 series is loosely based on, the characters are engaged.
In the 2016 novel Rebellion by Kass Morgan, Bellamy proposed to Clarke.

Bellamy does this by giving her a family heirloom, a silver ring with a blue stone.
These novels, however, have gone in a different direction to the series.
For example, while the duo have been a couple for most of the books, Clarke has had other relationships in the series.
Most famously, she was linked romantically with Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey), making her one of the shows few queer characters.

Following Lexa’s death, a killing that angered many fans, she has had small steps towards exploring her romantic feelings for Bellamy.
Some fans, however, have been waiting for them to get together since the beginning, and are impatiently hoping that season seven will be when this happens.
On the show’s Reddit, one fan wrote: “This ship is so drawn out, every season I have the highest hopes that it’s gonna be the season where it happens! And then I’m let down again.
“Don’t get me wrong, I love how they are deepening their relationship but Jesus I really want to see them together already.”
The 100 seasons 7 is coming to Amazon Prime Video in 2020
