Is This The Real Reason Denise Richards Decided To Return For Another Season Of RHOBH?

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards is returning for her second season on the Bravo reality show, but it’s probably not because she enjoys the drama. A new report claims that Richards’ ex-husband Charlie Sheen owes her $450,000 in back child support, and the actress is booking numerous gigs so she can support her children.

According to Radar Online, Richards filed documents in Los Angeles Superior Court last month requesting the court’s help with making Sheen pay up.

“[Charlie] has squandered over $24,000,000 from the sale in his interest in Two and a Half Men to pay his personal debts and to support his extravagant lifestyle at the expense of support payments for his children,” the documents stated.

The RHOBH star also claimed that since their last child support order in 2016, Sheen has failed to pay $450,000 in child support. At the same time, he diverted over $600,000 in assets to family members and spent thousands of dollars in cash.

Richards and Sheen share two children – Sam, 15, and Lola, 14. And, even though Sheen was once worth an estimated $125 million and the highest-paid actor on television, Richards says he has burned through most of that cash to fund his high-end lifestyle and he is moving around what he has left in order to avoid paying her child support.

Sheen has denied his ex-wife’s allegations, telling The Blast that Richards and her lawyers “traffic only in fiction.” The Platoon star called Richards a “coward,” and he says his day in court is painfully overdue. Ultimately, Sheen says the truth will prevail.

Sheen’s financial situation has changed significantly in the last decade, as he has gone from starring in the number one sitcom on TV to an actor who can’t find work. In his effort to lower his child support payments to his other ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, he claimed in court documents that the entertainment industry has blacklisted him, and that has “resulted in a significant reduction” in his earnings.

As for Richards, she has not only signed on for another season of RHOBH but she is also starring on the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful and she has shot cameos for The Price is Right and BH90210.

Her income from various jobs has allowed her to take care of her kids, and it also helped her pay off a significant credit card bill. Richards recently settled a $20,000 debt that she owed American Express, and the company has dropped their lawsuit against her.
