Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions brought another collection of contestants to the forefront this evening to battle it out as the best act on the show.
The huge array of acts consisted of singers, dancer, ventriloquists, and comedians.
One of the stranger acts came from Germany – an 11-year-old girl named Alexa Lauenburger and her eight dogs.
Alexa brought an intricate and highly-choreographed routine to the stage with her dogs to the tune of The Greatest Showman.
The act included the dogs working together to perform jumps, and even an eight-dog conga line.
It was so well received by hosts Ant and Dec that it garnered the much-coveted Golden Buzzer, sending Alexa and her puppy pals straight to the final.
However during Simon Cowell’s praise he seemed to snub a previous winner of Britain’s Got Talent.
The media mogul announced: “You at your age – to have that relationship with those gorgeous, gorgeous dogs is absolutely amazing.
“This is the best dog act I have ever ever seen!”
However fans of the show were quick to point out the other major dog act that has graced the stage with their paws: Ashleigh and Pudsey.

The duo won the competition back in 2012, and went down in history as the first dog act to win the competition.
Simon continued by adding: “This is one of the best acts we’ve ever had.”
Fans of the show were ecstatic over the act as well, as one wrote: “Well that makes Pudsey look right s**t!! (god rest his soul) #BGTChampions #Alexa #BGT.”
Another added: “B****y hell that German lass has put Pudsey to shame wow #bgt #BritainFirst #BGTChampions.”
Later in the show Jai McDowall returned to the stage to complete his act once again – but Simon recently told The Sun he had to apologise for slamming the act in 2011.
He told the publication: “I did feel when I saw him again that he’s the definition of a proud man.
“He didn’t sulk — he just came back to prove a point. And he did. I knew I had to apologise to him at that moment.
“It gave me a chance to say something publicly I should have said some time ago.
“But it was also the fact he had the guts to come back and compete, knowing I wasn’t that supportive the first time he was on the show.
