Xbox Live DOWN: Server Status latest following Microsoft Sign In issues

Xbox Live servers are down tonight, with thousands of reports coming in of ongoing sign in issues on Xbox One consoles.

It’s unclear what has caused tonight’s outage or how long it might last on Microsoft platforms.

“It’s Friday night, this better not be going on all night! A new game coming out should not crash the system,” one user writes.

The good news is that Microsoft has spotted today’s problems with Xbox Live servers and are looking to fix them as soon as possible.

The downside is that we don’t have an ETA on how long this might take for Xbox One gamers.

According to the latest news shared by Microsoft, today’s outage is only affecting Xbox One consoles.

That means Windows 10 gamers should remain unaffected.

The latest news from the Xbox tech team reads: “Our engineers and developers are actively continuing to work to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems signing in to Xbox Live. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.”

According to Microsoft’s Server Status site, tonight’s issues are mainly affecting Xbox Live Sign In procedures.

This means that gamers that were already signed in may not be affected by tonight’s outage.

Xbox Live Core Services currently affected include: Signing in; creating, managing, or recovering an account; search.
