Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool, Barcelona stars feature in top 100 as FIFA 20 ratings teased

EA Sports have left fans waiting with baited breath after they revealed their top 100 players for the FIFA 20 edition of their iconic video game.

After the early access dates of September 19 and 24, the game will be available to everyone in Europe from September 27 and will be released on a multitude of platforms.

Players from clubs across Europe have been included in the top 100 – with Premier League stars featuring aplenty.

Manchester United are represented in the FIFA 20 century by Paul Pogba and David de Gea, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette are included for Arsenal.

Liverpool boast a large number of familiar faces in the form of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Fabinho, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Alisson Becker.

Several players from English treble winners Manchester City are also included in FIFA 20’s top 100, with the likes of Sergio Aguero, Ederson, Raheem Sterling, Leroy Sane, David Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Rodri, Aymeric Laporte, and Bernardo Silva making the cut.

Tottenham fans can find a bevy of Spurs stars in the top 100, while Chelsea’s sole representative is midfield anchorman N’Golo Kante.

Barcelona have an impressive number of names included with Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie De Jong, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique, Samuel Umtiti and Marc-Andre ter Stegen all featuring.

Barca’s El Clasico arch-rivals Real Madrid also figure, with summer signing Eden Hazard among the top 100.

Bayern Munich, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are among the european heavyweights to have players included too.

There were some surprise selections as well, which are sure to leave FIFA 20 players scratching their heads.

Many will be debating over who will be the No 1 ranked player in the game.

For years the argument has either been Messi or Juventus’ Cristiano Ronaldo, but with Van Dijk having won the UEFA Player of the Year Award, could there be a surprise to come when the ratings are released?

Ronaldo and Messi both had a 94 rating to top the game last year, but the Portuguese was ranked ahead of the Argentinian on the EA website.

Whichever way it goes, all three are expected to be near the top of the pack.

The wait to find out the order of the top 100 players in FIFA 20 will come to an end on Monday, September 9.
