N’GoloKante attended a Chelsea’s fan Wedding

Being on the sidelines, France international N’Golo Kante missed Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Sheffield United during the weekend. But being injured didn’t stop the Frenchman from attending the wedding of his fan, having formerly rejected the invitation. Having missed the Blues’ last match on Saturday due to his ankle injury, the midfielder will also be sitting out the international duty for his country France which could have prompted him to change his mind about his plans.

The French midfielder had formerly turned down the invitation to the wedding of Henna Khalid and Raheel Malik. He was invited by the father of the bride Frank Khalid which he later attended.

Frank came out to speak about the midfielder, via the Sun: “We became friends when I was introduced to him by a friend and he came to my restaurant Chak89.

“I invited him and originally he couldn’t attend because of his commitment to the French national team, but because of his injury he messaged me saying he was coming.

“My family and myself are very close to N’Golo and he was one of the first people to visit me when I had my triple bypass surgery operation in April 2018.

“He stayed till the end and was so nice to everyone and signed autographs and took selfies with the guests.”

Adding more praise to the France international’s name, Frank took to his Social media to say: “He must have been asked for a million selfies and he happily obliged every person that was at the wedding. He was happy to be there.

“…Love him as a player but even more as a caring person who puts others before himself. Deserves all the success he gets.”

The 2018 World Cup winner has not been much of a help for his team lately has injuries has seen him sidelined so far, this 2019/20 campaign. Having missed the opening match for the season, which Chelsea lost to Manchester United in a 4-0 defeat.

He was able to feature in two Premier League matches for the club including their loss of the UEFA Super Cup to Liverpool before another injury struck again.
