Tom Holland may have a lot of trouble keeping the plot of his movies a secret during interviews but when it comes to his personal life, he’s always been very private! That being said, when he was caught on what looked like a date with Olivia Bolton, he was really surprised.
During an interview for GQ, the actor revealed that he prefers keeping his personal life away from tabloids.
But when he made headlines after his day out with a pretty blonde in London, (later identified to be Olivia Bolton) that was when he truly realized just how much he really cares about his privacy.
‘It’s just, I’m a very private person. If you do a Google search, I’m not a tabloid person. I don’t like living in the spotlight. I’m quite good at only being in the spotlight when I need to be,’ Tom shared with the news outlet.
When he and Olivia were caught getting cozy at a festival together in July, he was shocked!
‘It’s the first time I’ve ever kind of been in the tabloids. It’s the first time something like this has ever really happened to me. So it’s a bit of a shock to the system,’ the actor explained.
However, his first experience with the paparazzi has not stopped Tom from living it up and he has actually learned a lot from it.
‘It’s something that you look at and you go, ‘Oh, well, I just don’t put myself in that situation again.’’
Before the pictures surfaced, fans were convinced that the Spider-Man lead actor and co-star Zendaya were an item so the reveal was a bit heartbreaking for the shippers.

Of course, real fans only care that he is happy.
