Jadon Sancho puts Man Utd on red alert with Premier League transfer claim

Borussia Dortmund wonderkid Jadon Sancho would be open to a return to the Premier League later in his career.

The English teenager, who left Manchester City in 2017, has really made a name for himself in Germany.

The 19-year-old has got off to a good start in the Bundesliga this season, after being linked with a move to Manchester United this summer.

Instead, he stayed put at BVB, and signed a new bumper contract worth a reported £190,000-per-week.

Now, after earning a call-up to the England squad, he has put United on red alert by admitting that he would be up for a return to his home country.

He also stated that, whilst he is enjoying living and playing in Germany, he could be tempted by a move to Spain to play in La Liga at some point.

“I can’t tell the future but I wouldn’t mind,” he said when asked about the chances of a return to England.

“La Liga I wouldn’t mind also, but we don’t know yet.

“I am just happy that I’m playing and that’s the main thing.

“I’m just helping my team and learning every day when I’m on the pitch.”

Dortmund are currently fifth in the Bundesliga after two wins and one loss.

Sancho has scored twice in three games in the league so far, and has plans to continue his good run of form.

“It’s a great start,” he continued.

“I am just happy to have two goals and three assists. Hopefully I’ll just carry on.

“I don’t really try to take notice of all the media, I just try and stay focused on my game.

“Obviously being in Germany has taken off the pressure of the media and I think that’s really helping me a lot and keeping me focused.”
