EE has finally joined the unlimited data party with the launch of its all-you-can-eat plans.
These new bundles allow consumers to plough through as many downloads or stream endless video and music without fear of being charged anything extra.
The UK network says that its unlimited SIMs are available with 4G and 5G speeds and everyone who signs up also gets an extra 100GB which can be gifted to family linked to their account.
Speaking about the update Edward Goff, Marketing Director at EE, said: “If you want an unlimited data plan, you should get it on the UK’s best network, with the coverage and speeds that let you make the most of it. Our new unlimited range offers customers the ultimate smartphone experience in more places across the UK than any other network, all with no speed caps and great swappable benefits like Amazon Prime Video and BT Sport.”
This unlimited data is clearly good news but it does come at a price.
Consumers wanting all-you-can-eat 4G downloads will pay £34 per month with this increasing to £44 if you want the ultimate 5G speeds.
That’s pretty expensive especially when you compare it to some of EE’s latest capped deals.
The network currently has a number of price cuts including the option to grab a very generous 100GB of data a month for £27.
Along with that offer, there’s also 50GB for £24 per month or £21 for 20GB.

EE says all of these deals are for a limited time only and include download speeds of up to 60Mbps.
If you are desperate for unlimited data then EE’s new plans are certainly a welcomed addition but you will save money if you don’t think your usage is that extreme.
