Breaking Bad movie El Camino: Walt ALIVE? ‘You never saw a body bag’ teases Bryan Cranston

A week ago Breaking Bad fans were treated to the first teaser for El Camino, the official follow-up to series finale Felina. Very little is known about the Breaking Bad movie, except that it follows Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman as a fugitive in the aftermath of the final episode. And all the trailer saw was his friend Skinny Pete being questioned about his whereabouts. Saul Goodman star Bob Odenkirk has teased El Camino has already wrapped, so could this mean that Bryan Cranston has secretly shot scenes as Walter White?

Cranston was then pressed on if Walt would be back for a Breaking Bad movie or series revival.

The star said: “Never say never.”

In fact, at the beginning of this year, the 63-year-old told NBC Today: “I’d love to do a Breaking Bad movie.”

With all this in mind, it seems highly likely that Cranston’s Walt will at the very least cameo during El Camino.

If Walt is dead, presumably he could feature in a flashback or dream of Jesse’s.

But if he’s alive that really does raise some big questions.

With a recent trend in TV series revivals, maybe showrunner Vince Gilligan would be tempted to bring back Breaking Bad after the movie?

El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie streams on Netflix on October 11, 2019.
