Kevin Hart crash: US comedian suffers ‘major back injuries’ in horrific accident

As reported by CNN, Mr Hart and the driver Jared Black sustained “major back injuries” according to the California Highway Patrol report. Mr Black reportedly ost control whilst driving Hart’ 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. Two of the three occupants were trapped in the vehicle and Mr Hart left the scene to get medical attention at his nearby home.

Mr Black was not under the influence of alcohol and the third occupant did not suffer substantial injuries.

Hart and Mr Black have been transported to nearby hospitals.

The Ride Along star bought the car as a 40th birthday present.

Sources have told TMZ the car smashed through a wooden fence.

The Sun have named Rebecca Broxterman as the third passenger.

Mr Hart uploaded a picture of the Barracuda on Instagram when he bought it with the caption: “I added some more muscle to the family for my 40th.

“Welcome home ‘Menace’.”

Menace is one of the nicknames given to the car.

His first break was a role as Luke on Fox sitcom Undeclared.

The Plymouth Barracuda is a collectible for car enthusiasts.

It was produced by Chrysler from 1964 until 1974.

Assembly locations were Fenton, Hamtramck, Maywood and Windsor in Canada.

The two-door car had three generations of production.

The third was offered from 1970 until 1974.

It was based on the Chrysler E-body.

The vehicle was available in hardtop and convertible styles.

Plymouth as a brand was discontinued in 2001.
