Google Maps Street View: Cameras locate hilarious themed building from aerial images

Google Maps’ Street View team tracks locations across the world, uploading the images to its website. Some have been deemed the scariest, or creepiest, sites ever – including a sun-scorched field in North Carolina. Yet one particular area left Google Maps users in stitches of giggles, rather than struck with fear. This Street View scene involved an industrial building in Hyderabad, India.

The Google cameras had zoomed in on a site which houses the country’s National Fisheries Board.

Those working in the building, created in 2006, are under the control of the Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, in the Government of India.

They strive to enhance fish production and productivity, by focussing on attention to fisheries and aquaculture.

While most government buildings across the world appear pretty ordinary, serious-looking brick buildings, this is very different.

It is clear those working at the National Fisheries Development Board are that passionate about their role, they want to promote it on the building too.

Google Maps Street View captured the image of the site from above, with surprising results.

It showed the voiding to be in the shape of a huge fish, complete with beady eyes and fins.

It appeared quite a pleasant fish, with a friendly face and smile.

Windows could clearly be seen on the exterior, which gave the appearance of scales.

Blue panelled glass down the front of the face also gave off a marine vibe.

Meanwhile, in a completely different scenario, Google Maps Street View located at an eerie rural site in North Carolina.

The area, Bear Creek, did not in fact feature any animals when the company’s tracking service came to call.

It had deep ruts in the ground yet, in somewhat of a contrast, bush green trees surrounded the ground in a circle.

No-one could be spotted strolling the area, which seemed pretty remote and off the beaten track.

Yet there may be a reason for the lack of human presence, according to Reddit users.

Bloggers on the website have deemed Bear Creek as one of the “creepiest” locations on the entire website.

One explained why, and detailed: “Devil’s Trampling Ground is a site in NC.

“It’s a patch of ground where no trees will grow, and objects that are left overnight in the circle will be moved outside the circle by morning.”
