Emmerdale fans distracted by continuous blunders in Moira Barton and Nate Robinson scenes

Emmerdale viewers tuned in to see a double bill of the soap last night as several residents continued with the dramatic events in their lives.

However, many were left perplexed when they noticed a series of blunders.

During the first episode, farm owner Moira Barton (Natalie J. Robb) was seen trying to ignore temptation as Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) continued to flirt.

Standing outside in the pouring rain, Moira explained her frustration at the tractor breaking down at such an inconvenient time for the business.

The pair were filmed within close proximity of one another as the rain tumbled down from the sky.

While there were heavy downpour up at the farm, it seems the village wasn’t experiencing the same weather.

Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) was speaking to her dad Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) who has recently returned to Emmerdale when the faint sound of thunder echoed in the background, but the ground seemingly remained dry.

Further down in the village, Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) bumped into Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) outside the post office.

Both were wearing light summer jackets and had no umbrella to hand, thus suggesting rain hadn’t fallen before they had stepped outside to run their errands.

While it is possible only the farm was experiencing bad weather, Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) didn’t get wet when she fled from the hospital after a brief panic.

But the confusion among fans didn’t stop there, because when the show returned to Moira and Nate up at the farm where they were having another argument, outside, there was torrential rain.

The scene then switched to Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), who was in the village talking to daughter Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) on the phone.

Despite the rain lashing down a few moments ago, Cain was chatting animatedly to Debbie while standing outside in the sunshine.

Following his phone call, Cain then dialled Moira’s number, but it went straight to voicemail. When she did check her phone, it was still raining in the background.

And to add to this, Nate went for a run later on that day and returned soaked and not because of sweat.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the drastic weather changes, one viewer said: “The rain showers were very isolated at #Emmerdale. It was pouring down with rain at the farm but completely bone dry a couple of miles away in the village.”

Another said: “It’s chucking it down with rain on the farm and cracking the flags with glorious sun at the garage #Emmerdale.”

“Pouring with rain on the farm but dry everywhere else on @itvemmerdale #Emmerdale,” someone else wrote.

It comes after some viewers have suggested Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) is going to be involved in a new romantic storyline.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
