Tristan Thompson has been getting more and more involved in his daughter’s life and, as it turns out, it’s because of his mother! The basketball player and his child with Khloe Kardashian, True, are spending more dad-daughter time lately, much to the excitement of everyone around him.
After all, for a while, it looked like he was not interested in being a present parent and that was upsetting to many.
One insider report claims his mother, Andrea, has a lot to do with the positive change.
She has allegedly stepped in to make sure her sportsman son would show up more in his daughter’s life.
Obviously, that is all that Khloe wants so she is very grateful to Andrea for influencing Tristan to be more responsible.
‘Tristan Thompson’s mom Andrea has been very influential when it comes to True being in Tristan’s life. The two had a real heart to heart about his involvement in his daughter’s life and he really did listen. Andrea and Khloe communicate more than Khloe and Tristan do and Khloe is so thankful for her,’ the insider dished to HollywoodLife.
They went on to add that ‘Khloe tries her best to co-parent and she makes it clear Tristan is welcome to see True as much as he wants. It disappoints her that he does not want to see her more. However, since Andrea has stepped in, there has been some more involvement in his life. Tristan just seems to want to relax more during his off-season time, but for Tristan, he is trying.’
