NATWEST DOWN
NatWest is one of the UK’s biggest banks that is harnessed by Britons across the country.
However, this morning it appears NatWest’s online banking is down – causing alarm amongst users wanting to move their money or make payments.
Independent outage monitor Downdetector has registered over 750 reports from users at one time insisting NatWest is experiencing issues.
The site noted 88 percent of these reports were related to online banking.
A further 9 percent concerned NatWest’s website.
In response to the outage, a number of customers have taken to Twitter to express their frustration.
One said: “Your online business banking is down and we need to make a wage payment today.”
Another wrote: “NatWest your website and online banking is down.
“How much longer until it is up and running please?”
A third declared: “NatWest how long is your website going to be down?”
NatWest has confirmed it is experiencing issues this morning.
In a number of responses to customers on Twitter, the bank said it is “aware” of the ongoing outage for some customers and is “working to fix” it.
It is unknown when NatWest’s online banking service will be up and running again.
