Power season 6, episode 2 promo: What will happen in Whose Side Are You On?

Hit series Power has finally returned to screens a year after fans were left shellshocked by the season five finale which featured a major betrayal and left one character’s life hanging in the balance. Thankfully, Power fans finally found out what happened in the season six premiere when all was revealed. With the show now back in earnest, Express.co.uk takes a look at next week’s episode called Whose Side Are You On as loyalties are tested amid the fallout from the series opener.

What will happen in Whose Side Are You On?

Whose Side Are You On will be airing on Starz in the US on Sunday, September 1.

Netflix UK is expected to be dropping the next instalment on Monday, September 2.

However, episode one’s release on Netflix has been delayed and it’s unclear when it will be available on the platform.

With this in mind, audiences could be in for a wait for Whose Side Are You On.

Ahead of the forthcoming instalment, Starz has dropped a short teaser for episode two to keep fans hooked.

In the 30-second clip, James “Ghost” St Patrick (played by Omari Hardwick) finds himself threatened by a rival Jason Micic (Mike Dopud).

“That was a big assault on my organisation. Tommy got in over his head and it seems now so have you,” Jason warns him.

The video cuts to Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora) who looks concerned as he barks orders: “Move that away and keep your mouths shut. No one knows I’m breathing.”

They’re not the only ones feeling the heat, Tasha St Patrick (Nature Naughton) finds cops coming to her door grilling her about the whereabouts of her lover Terry Silver (Brandon Victor Dixon).

Season five saw Terry getting killed by Ghost but it was unclear what happened to his body. Nonetheless, Terry’s death is going to come back to haunt him.

Tasha is also out for revenge after learning Ghost killed Terry and she could be the one to take him down in the end.

Unsurprisingly, the teaser cuts to a conversation between Tasha and Ghost in which she tells him: “I want half of everything.”

Presumably, she is looking for him to buy her silence or risk her spilling all to the authorities.

“I want you to stay away from Tasha,” LaKeisha Grant (La La Anthony) tells Tommy as the trailer starts to come to a head.

Meanwhile, Ghost appears to be losing followers as he’s told: “If your ship is going down, I ain’t going down with it.”

The trailer comes to a close with Jason holding a gun to Ghost’s head which could spell the end for the drug lord.

Although the trailer is full of drama, this is simply the beginning of the ride.

Season six, which is the last run, will be tying up the loose ends and fans can expect lots of deaths as well.

Power season 6 airs on Starz in the US on Sundays and Netflix UK on Mondays
