PSG are said to prefer to sell him to Real Madrid.

But Neymar wants to be reunited with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez in Catalonia.

David Luiz worry revealed after Arsenal transfer

Matthew Upson has slammed David Luiz, claiming he has a mistake in him.

“I’m not his biggest fan, I’m really not,” he said on The Debate.

“I think he has done well, I think for Arsenal it’s a good, established centre-back with experience.

“He’s did well against Burnley, but I agree with Joleon [Lescott], that he can just go walkabout at times in terms of mentally. He just switches off.

“Whether that’s just a moment in a game or for a longer period of time depending on what happens.

“So I think from that point of view it could be a dangerous signing.

“Hopefully it works out and they’ll get the best out of him.”

Bale receives Zinedine Zidane instruction

Gareth Bale looks as if he could well stay at Real Madrid this season.

That’s after he was initially shown the exit door by Zinedine Zidane.

He was heading for China before a deal that would have made him the highest paid player on the planet collapsed.

Now Zidane has told him to prove himself as a “great player” at the Bernabeu.

He started last week’s opening day triumph at Celta Vigo.

Ryan Kent tells friends he wants Liverpool exit

According to Football Insider, Ryan Kent has told his pals that he intends to head back to Glasgow this season.

He has been frozen out of the Liverpool first team set up and told he can find a new club.

The Reds are looking for a permanent deal as opposed to another loan.

Steven Gerrard is keen on a reunion and it’s likely they will present an offer of a loan with an option to buy.

Keylor Navas to stay at Real Madrid

Zinedine Zidane believes Keylor Navas will stay at Real Madrid despite interest from PSG.

The star is set to be the club’s No 2 behind Thibaut Courtois.

“I can’t imagine the squad without him, he’s an important player; he always has been and always will be,” the Frenchman said.

“I’m not contemplating that possibility. He hasn’t told me that he wants to leave, he’s here and he wants to play, which is very important for us.”

Real Sociedad looking at Monreal

Nacho Monreal is out of contract next summer at Arsenal and clubs are already monitoring the situation.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Sociedad are weighing up a move for the left back.

His days at the Emirates Stadium appear to be numbered, after the arrival of Kieran Tierney.

The Spaniard is already behind Sead Kolasinac in the pecking order.

Alexis Sanchez deal weakens Man Utd

The Chilean’s departure is currently being held up over wages, with Inter Milan keen on a loan deal with obligation to buy.

Gabriele Marcotti believes his departure would leave United shortchanged in attack.

“I think United were left short-handed when Lukaku left and wasn’t replaced,” Marcotti told the Transfer Talk podcast.

“And they will be even more so if Sanchez goes. He did look really good at the Copa America and I think that’s why [Inter boss] Antonio Conte thinks he can regenerate him.

“Martial and Rashford have both started [United’s first matches of the season]. They’re both starters. If one of them gets injured you have kind of got to fill two roles.

“But in addition to Greenwood is Tahith Chong. Is he the other striking option that they have?

“With the possible exception of Greenwood, or unless Pogba conjures something out of nothing, or Mata hits a free-kick, how are you going to score?

“You don’t have a Plan B alternative in terms of size, strength or even a genuine penalty box poacher.”

Christian Eriksen door open

Christian Eriksen could still leave Tottenham before the September 2 European deadline.

Mauricio Pochettino has left the door open for the midfielder’s exit, with the Dane not willing to sign a contract extension.

He said ahead of the Premier League clash with Newcastle: “I know really well that decisions like this are not easy but I always try to be in the position to take the best benefit for the club. And of course for the player, too, because it’s two interests. We cannot be on one side or the other.

“The most important thing is to try to take the best decision for both sides.”

Neymar makes Barcelona contract demand

Neymar wants a contract worth around £660,000 a week if he is to leave Paris Saint-Germain for Barcelona this summer.

That’s according to Spanish TV channel La Sexta, who report he wants to net around £32million per season in Catalonia.

Real Madrid are also in the mix, but will have to sell a number of key stars to ensure they’re able to fund a move.

Neymar is set on leaving PSG this summer and has not been involved as of yet in Ligue 1 as Thomas Tuchel prepares for his departure.

Tottenham could return for Paulo Dybala in January

Football London have given Tottenham supporters hope that a move for Paulo Dybala is still alive.

Journalist Alasdair Gold believes a deal could be revived in January if Juventus are still keen to offload.

He said: “If the window closes and Dybala is still at Juventus then Spurs would be right to think they still have a chance to sign him in January.

“Much will still depend on his situation at the Old Lady and whether Maurizio Sarri gives him regular football and whether he makes it into that Champions League squad despite the fact that the Serie A side have to leave out foreign players from their bloated squad for the European competition.”

Man Utd cool Fernando Llorente interest

There had been some suggestion that Manchester United were looking to sign Fernando Llorente.

But that speculation looks dead in the water after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed the club’s transfer business is done for the summer.

“We are not looking at any more signings,” Solskjaer reiterated on Friday.

Llorente had been tipped to provide United with some extra attacking firepower after being released by Tottenham.

Mustafi agent talks

Shkodran Mustafi’s agent has revealed that he is looking to leave the Emirates Stadium.

“Shkodran had a great time with Arsenal,” his agent said in a statement to Sky Germany.

“We still have a contract for two years and can imagine to stay in London.

“However the best for both sides is probably to work on a transfer.

“But for that it also needs market-driven transfer-fees.”
