York races: Ladies Day guests flash the flesh in plunging necklines and bold hats

Racegoers have showed up wearing their best frocks as they arrive at York Racecourse. Guests took advantage of the warm weather and opted for a selection of daring designs to watch the races. Many dressed for summer in bright colours and short skirts for the Yorkshire Ebor Festival. As well as a number of revealing outfits, there was a selection of eye-catching hats on display.

As the guests arrived for Ladies Day, they turned heads as many people dressed for summer in small dresses.

One woman wore a fit and flare mini red satin dress which pulled her in at the waist and had a plunging v-neck.

She matched this with a pair of nude suede high heels and a red fascinator.

The racegoer was accompanied by a woman in a similar white dress and matching shows.

Another guest was feeling the cold and wrapped herself up with a large scarf around her head.

She held her cream fascinator in her hands and protected her head with the thin cream scarf.

As the guests arrived, one showed off her legs in a summery white dress which cut off midway down her thigh.

The strappy white dress had flowers detailing across it and it had a low v-neckline.

As well as wearing some daring outfits, the guests wore a number of impressive hats and fascinators.

One woman wore a fitted mustard satin dress with an asymmetric hemline which showed off her legs.

However, it was her headpiece that attracted the most attention as she wore a black hat which covered part of her face.

As they arrived to watch the races, another guest wore a gigantic red fascinator on her head.

The larger than life piece complemented her one shouldered red mini dress and black heels.

Another guest opted for a similar look by wearing a larger than life emerald green design.

She let this take the focus as she paired it with a plain white dress and emerald strappy heels.

While attending Ladies Day at the races, attendees will often make an effort to put on their best frocks.
