Rachel Riley reveals huge bump in tight pink dress amid 'elephant-length' pregnancy

Rachel Riley, 33, took to Instagram to share a snap of herself with Hannah Fry, 35, in view of her 409,000 followers. The presenter posed with the mathematician on the set of Countdown and opted for a tight-fitting bright pink dress for the occasion. She beamed for the camera and put her blossoming baby bump on full display in the bodycon outfit. Rachel, who is expecting her first baby with her husband Pasha Kovalev, 39, in December, wore her blonde tresses straight and accessorised with a pair of heels.

Hannah on the other hand showed off her sense of style in a printed T-shirt, skinny jeans, and a matching blazer.

Rachel was quick to joke about the length of her “on screen pregnancy” in the caption of the photo.

She wrote: “The UK’s leading female mathematician, and me!

“Loved Hannah Fry’s stories today, absolute proof maths is cool. QED.”

The star went on to reveal the episode filmed with Hannah will be airing at the end of November.

“On screen the last week of November, as part of my elephant-esque length on screen pregnancy,” Rachel quipped.

Elephant pregnancies continue for over a year and a half, while the human gestation period lasts for 40 weeks on average.

Rachel’s post about her on screen pregnancy comes after she hit back at a “complaint” from a Channel 4 viewer.

The mathematics expert made a statement about the negative comment when she got involved in a campaign from the channel based on complaints.

Rachel appeared alongside the likes of comedian Mo Gilligan, 31, Prue Leith, 79, and newsreader Jon Snow, 71, in the campaign.

The presenter was shown placing letters onto the famous Countdown board during her section of the video to spell out the word “whatever”.

Rachel wore a red floral printed dress in the clip, as she read out a message from a viewer about her wardrobe choices on the programme.

The star said: “Her outfit is totally inappropriate,” before turning around to reveal the word on the board.

The TV personality then appeared to dismiss the comment as she smiled for the camera and exclaimed: “Whatever.”

Rachel shared a link to the video with her 647,000 Twitter followers and added a witty caption.

She tweeted: “I have a special shredder where I keep all mine safe.”

Countdown airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 2.10pm while 8 out of 10 Does Countdown airs Fridays at 9pm on the same channel.
