Susan Boyle 2019: BGT star beams in rare red carpet appearance ahead of stage return

Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle, 58, appeared in high spirits as she smiled for pictures on the red carpet at America’s Got Talent.

The singer opted for a figure-hugging black jumpsuit accompanied with a silver blazer and flat shoes.

Susan styled her brunette hair in a glamorous bob and sported a full fringe.

The talent show star will perform on the America’s Got Talent stage as part of the live show tonight.

Back in February, Susan was a contestant on America’s Got Talent: The Champions.

After singing her rendition of Wild Horses, she was awarded the golden buzzer by judge Mel B.

But, Susan’s journey came to an end in the final, which was won by magician Shin Lim.

The singer was reportedly asked to appear on the upcoming Britain’s Got talent: The Champions competition, but dropped out due to work commitments.

A source told The Sun: “She’s done America’s Got Talent: The Champions and has dropped her eighth studio album Ten – it’s been non-stop.

“She was excited to be asked to take part in the show, but has got so much on she doesn’t know if she can make it work.”

A spokesperson for Susan also told the publication: “Susan has a busy year ahead with lots of performances coming up, trips to the US, headlining BBC Proms in September, as well as preparing for her upcoming tour.”

They added: “She is enjoying celebrating the decade since she first appeared on BGT and her life changing for the better.

“She loved being part of AGT Champions and, whether she is able to make it or not, wishes the contestants taking part on BGT Champions the best of luck.”

Last week, Susan Boyle announced she will be also performing as part of the I Dream The Dream Gala in Miami later this year.

Susan shared the news in a video in view of her 37,000 Instagram followers.

She wrote: “Come and join Susan at the @alfalit_int “To Dream The Dream” Gala in Miami on Saturday 9th of November 2019.

“It’s a special charity and a wonderful night will be had. Get your tickets today – link in bio.”

Susan first rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, which was won by Diversity.

After winning over the public with her rendition of I Dreamed A Dream, she embarked on a successful music journey.

Her debut album with the same title sold almost 14 million copies worldwide.

Susan released her most recent album Ten back in March to celebrate her 10 years in the industry.

Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions returns to ITV later this month.
