OnePlus 7 comes in three models: the standard OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro and the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.
The latter is the Chinese tech firm’s most premium smartphone yet – it touts arguably the best display on a smartphone right now, has a capable rear triple camera system and delivers incredibly fast performance thanks to its powerful internals and snappy software.
OnePlus typically releases two flagship devices every year – in 2018 these were called the OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T respectively.
It is expected the Shenzhen-based manufacturer will release upgraded versions of its 7 series later this year that are presumed to tote “T” branding.
In fact, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau recently confirmed the company is planning to launch another 5G smartphone before 2019 is over.
It is presumed the device Mr Lau was referring to is part of the firm’s expected OnePlus 7T series.
While the CEO did not disclose any potential release dates for the new handset, it seems a fresh leak may have outed the launch and release dates of the OnePlus 7T.
Leaker Max J. recently took to Twitter and suggested the new flagship series could launch as soon as September 26 in India.
It was noted the hardware could be unwrapped in the US and European territories on October 10.
Finally OnePlus’ next smartphone series was claimed to be made available for purchase on October 15.
OnePlus has been rumoured to be planning the debut of its already announced TV product range between September 25 to 30, according to teenage tipster Ishan Agarwal and MySmartPrice.
It is possible the Chinese tech giant could show off new smartphones at the same event rumoured for its TV.
However, it would not be completely foreign for OnePlus to reveal its next-generation smartphone range in the month of October.
For reference, the firm announced the OnePlus 6T on October 29, 2018.
The device then released on November 6.
If the latest leak surrounding OnePlus’ next flagship is true, it could give Android fans a huge reason to skip the OnePlus 7 to wait for an presumably improved device instead.
