Angelina Jolie has dropped her oldest son Maddox Jolie-Pitt off at college. Brad Pitt was nowhere around as his ex-wife and son shared the milestone moment.
The proud mama was just like a slew of parents gearing up to drop their first baby off at school. Maddox has chosen to attend college abroad. The 18-year-old is now a freshman at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. Pictures of the Oscar winner and Maddox touring the school, as well as moving him into this dorm have surfaced on social media.
Maddox new school Yonsei University is a private research institution located in Seoul. Sources shared with People magazine the young man intends to study biochemistry at the institution. Jolie revealed this past spring she is extremely proud of her son and his college plans.

Pitt’s absence from what is a pivotal moment for parents and children has added fuel to the fire regarding his strained relationship with Maddox. Before his divorce from Jolie, reports declared there was an intense fight on a private jet between father and son. It is allegedly what ultimately led to the Hollywood A-list couple’s demise.
US Weekly is reporting since the fight, Maddox no longer considers the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood star his father. The argument, where Pitt was reportedly intoxicated, was the last straw for the boy. The FBI even got involved but cleared the hunk of any wrongdoing.
Pitt went to anger management classes and therapy for substance issues following the incident. However, it did nothing to persuade Maddox to repair his relationship with his father. The weekly magazine has even indicated Pax Jolie-Pitt is taking the same stance as his older brother when it comes to their famous dad.
Neither of the boys spent this past Christmas with the actor, even though the custody agreement said it was Pitt’s time. A large part of the choice was because of Maddox resentment towards his estranged father.

Maddox Jolie-Pitt is officially a college student. It was a momentous occasion for Angelina Jolie to take her son to school. Sadly, Brad Pitt was not part of a life-changing experience for his oldest child.

It looks like father and son have a few fences to mend. Hopefully, in due time, the 18-year-old can work things out with Pitt. Until then, the teenager has his super close relationship with Jolie, who he can turn to if college life gets a little harsh.
