According to a report from Us Magazine, Katie Holmes was the one to call off the romance with Jamie Foxx for good. A source who spoke with the publication claims that the pair called it quits following six years of dating.
On the 19th of August, the same insider revealed to Us Magazine that the pair split up, but the reason for their separation hasn’t been explained yet. Near the beginning of the month, the 51-year-old Hollywood star sparked rumor and gossip when he was seen hanging around two different women in the LA area.
For instance, on the 15th of August, Thursday, Jamie was spotted with an unknown blonde woman at Delilah and the Highlight Room, and then around two days after, he was seen with the singer, Sela Vave, near the Bootsy Bellows nightclub in West Hollywood.
Page Six was the first to report a conversation with the 40-year-old actress, Katie, and some of her friends. She was reportedly heard speaking to her pals while at the La Esquina restaurant in New York City. The actress said to her friends at the NYC restaurant that whatever Jamie does on his own time was his business, because they haven’t been together for months.
It was back in March of 2015 when the Dawson’s Creek alum was reported to be in a relationship with the Grammy Award winner for approximately two years at that time. Even though they were together for years, sources said to the outlet that neither Jamie nor Katie wanted to tie the knot.
In April 2019, the source said to the outlet that Katie and Jamie intended on keeping their romance very private. Katie has a daughter with Tom Cruise, Suri, 13, and Foxx has two daughters, Annalise, 10, and Corinne, who’s 25.
Furthermore, the source claimed Jamie and Katie rarely hung out with each other when the kids were around, moreover, the insider claimed they both had “great chemistry.”

For years, Katie was linked to Tom Cruise, however, they split up, and some fans speculated that his role in the Church of Scientology played a key role in their romance’s demise, although, this has never been substantiated.
