Jeremy Clarkson: ‘Stick to cars’ The Grand Tour host mocked by footballer James Maddison

Jeremy Clarkson, 59, knocked James Maddison’s football skills after he failed to score during Leicester City’s match against Chelsea.

The Grand Tour host hit out at the midfielder for spending too much time at the barber’s, instead of honing in his football technique.

Jeremy tweeted to his 7.2 million followers: “James Maddison. Too long at the barber’s. Not enough time practicing football.”

However, the former Top Gear presenter probably wasn’t counting on James, 22, to mock him back.

The footballer told Jeremy to “stick to cars” as he also took a swipe at his hairline.

James replied in view of his 108,000 followers: “Stick to cars mate. Can count on 1 hand how many trims you’ve got left #thin.”

Many of the sport star’s fans loved his response with one fan writing: “JAMES MADDISON SHOOTS JAMES MADDISON SCORESSSSS.”(sic)

Another said: “SCORE UPDATE: James 1 – Mr. Clarkson 0.”

However, one person was on the side of Jeremy as they wrote: “He’s not wrong, madly overrated.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy recently hit out Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, for his increase in funding for cycle lanes across London.

The presenter went on an epic rant as he hit out about the idea, and said he can “f**k off”.

Jeremy was filmed speaking to the camera from Holland Park where he vented about the London Mayor’s plans to introduce more protected cycling infrastructure in the capital.

Jeremy began: “So this is Holland Park in London, one of the most beautiful streets in London because of all the trees that line it, but the Mayor of London wanted to pull them down to make way for a cycle lane.”

Expressing his point of view very clearly, the star added: “Well he can f**k off.”

“The man’s obviously deranged,” he continued. “You can’t pull trees down so that people can cycle.”

The controversial star then turned around to point out there were many more cars on the road than cyclists.

He said: “It’s a lovely summer’s day you would image people would be cycling, nobody wants to, you’re sweaty, you smell. We’re living in stupid times.”

Jeremy said in the video, the quote to introduce the cycle lanes was £42 million for four and a half miles.

“They can f**k off, thats £10 million a mile!” He exclaimed. “That’s the good thing, the council has told hem to f**k off, they said no.”

Back in June, Kensington and Chelsea Council said it would not support the plan over congestion and air quality concerns.
