Who is new Bake Off contestant Michelle?
Michelle is a 35-year-old print shop administrator from Tenby in Wales.
The Bake Off star traces her love of baking back to her childhood where she would bake on the farm he grew up in.
Nowadays she tends to bake on a regular basis, often showing off her impressive bakes on her public Instagram page – @bakesbymichelle (see below).

Michelle likes to bake with her family in the kitchen, often roping her in her son and husband to help in the kitchen.
The Bake Off star is no stranger to experimenting with flavours.
She prides herself on creating new and unorthodox tastes in her bakes.
Michelle is also a huge fan of sourcing local and fresh produce when it comes to her shopping list.
From loaves of bread to sweet dessert pastries, Michelle’s expertise cover a wide range of foods.

At 25 years of age, Michelle is one of the more senior amateur bakers taking part in Bake Off this year.
With an average of 31, this year’s GBBO line-up is the youngest ever.

Michelle has described landing the role on Bake as a “dream come true”.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news, she said: “SECRETS OUT!! I’m in this year’s Bake Off!
“Still can’t believe it, dreams can come true. Never give up.”
Fans will have to tune in every week when Bake Off begins to see how well Michelle does in the tent.
Great British Bake Off 2019 starts on Tuesday, August 27 on Channel 4 at 8pm.
