Noah Centineo is saying goodbye to Peter Kavinsky, the character that took the actor to heartthrob status overnight after To All The Boys I Loved Before became a bonafide hit.
The 23-year-old used Twitter to share a fond farewell to a character he loved, as well as the one that has changed his life forever.
“Tonight was my last night as Peter Kavinsky. I hope you all love these last installments as much as we do. Forever grateful for the opportunity to be yours. Thank you, Lana, thank you, Michael, Thank you, Matt Thank you Netflix, grateful to every person who told this story with us,” he Tweeted.
Centineo’s message came two days after he and costar Lana Condor dropped a couple of shocking notes about the Netflix film. Fans already knew the cast was filming a sequel. The stars revealed To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You will drop on Netflix on February 12th just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Fans were elated to hear the sequel would hit the streaming service in a matter of months. However, Centineo and Condor had another bit of exciting news for TATB groupies, which was going to thrill people to their core.
The cast was already in the process of filming a third-film for the TATB franchise. Netflix and everyone else involved had been keeping that bit of news a secret. There is no word on when the third film will drop on eh streaming service. The original movie dropped one year ago and instantly became a rom-com classic.
Noah Centineo has officially said goodbye to Peter Kavinsky. Although the young actor had some success before starring in To All The Boys I Loved Before, he was on Freeform his show, The Fosters for a couple of seasons, playing Peter thrust him into Hollywood stardom.
Last January the young stud couldn’t hide his excitement over getting to work on the sequel.
“I haven’t seen a script yet, but I know Lana is stoked. We’re all really, really excited. I’m over the moon,” he said to People magazine.
There is good and bad news for TATB fans. The sequel is launching in a few months, and there is a third movie that has already been filmed. However, Centineo’s goodbye to Peter Tweet has made it clear a fourth installment in the Netflix franchise is highly unlikely. Unless of course, he is not in a fourth one but that seems unlikely.
