Rachel Riley: ‘They’ll have your naked shots’ Countdown favourite warns co-star

Rachel Riley, 33, made the bizarre declaration during a recent episode of Countdown where she discussed cyber security with her co-star Nick Hewer, 75. The show frontman quizzed the mathematician on whether she had experienced difficulty with her computer, to which the mum-to-be admitted she was “told off” by an IT technician. Nick asked: “What about you…have you ever been locked out of your computer?” Rachel replied: “I’ve done the same as you Nick. I had a guy come round and tell me off about the passwords being the same on various accounts.”

The blonde beauty admitted she used the same password for various electronic devices but revealed the downsides to having such bad habits.

She continued: “And I’ve got something now where it keeps track of all of them [passwords] and you have to enter your thumb fingerprint every single time you want to put a password in because the worst thing is if someone nicks your phone while you’re on it and it’s unlocked already.

“Then they’ve got absolutely everything on you already.”

Rachel told the Countdown host if his phone his stolen, then the thief will have access to all of his “naked shots”.

The Channel 4 favourite said: “They can get all your bank details and your address, your credit cards. Absolutely everything. Danger. They’ll have all of your naked shots.”

Nick replied: “You’ve broken me out into a sweat of terror now, Rachel.”

Meanwhile, the pregnant star recently spoke out on A-Level results day via her Twitter account yesterday.

The Countdown favourite explained she hates articles on the matter which state the amount of people who have achieved top grades has fallen.

She admitted they “wound” her up when she was a student, and admitted they still annoy her now.

The TV star shared a story which came with the headline: “The proportion of students achieving the top grades at A-level has fallen to its lowest level for more than a decade, this year’s results show #alevelresults2019.”

Along with the article, Rachel argued: “These headlines wound me up when I was a student and still do now.”

She added: “A quote from the actual article: “’Overall, A-level pass rates & the percentages reaching each grade never change very much, as exam boards & regulators seek to maintain standards over time’. #alevelresults2019.”

In a follow-up tweeted, Rachel shared a positive message to her fans as she urged them to be “excited” about what’s next in their life.

Elsewhere, the mathematician who appears on the Channel 4 spin-off show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown shared a hilarious snap on her Instagram account where she revealed “can’t believe this is my job”.

In view of her 408,000 followers, Rachel held up a doll which appeared to be a replica of herself.

The doll held a beverage in it’s hand as sick spewed outside of it’s mouth.

Rachel captioned the snap: “This needs very little explanation over #CatsCountdown. Can’t believe this is my job.”

8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown continues tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
