PS Plus Free Games download ENDS but new PS4 and PS Store bonuses are on the way

The latest PS Plus free games update has ended on PS4, and can no longer be downloaded and played.

Black Desert is launching on the PlayStation platform in the coming weeks and recently ran an open beta test.

This ended on August 13 and was available to all PlayStation 4 gamers, regardless of if they had an active PS Plus subscription.

The trial access period has now ended, and those gamers who want to carry on their adventures will need to buy the full version of the game.

Black Desert is available for pre-order with Standard (£23.99 GBP), Deluxe (£39.99 GBP) and Ultimate (£78.49 GBP) Editions, which offers various in-game rewards.

The official release date for Black Desert is August 22, 2019, bringing yet another MMO to the PlayStation platform.

And the good news is that while this latest PS Plus free games test has now ended, another is scheduled to begin soon in 2019.

Having proven a hit in other regions, it was announced earlier this year that Caravan Stories would be arriving in the UK on PS4.

The original timetable for the MMO’s release has now passed, with the development team confirming a delay to proceedings.

“We are working hard to make your journey through Iyarr an amazing one, so to ensure that we deliver the best version of Caravan Stories possible we need some more time to polish up the final touches before release,” the latest message from the team reads.

“This was not an easy decision. For more than a year now our main priority has been to deliver a standout experience for our North American debut, and while we are certainly close to our goal, we decided that spending a little more time smoothing out some rough edges would ultimately be in the best interest of the players.

“We know that you are excited to explore, and we can’t wait for you to write your story. We will have another update soon with the Open Beta and official Release date.”

The good news is that when it does finally arrive, Caravan Stories will start with an open beta test.

This will be followed by a full release, which will also be free-to-play on PS4 and PS4 Pro.

So gamers will soon have another title to choose from that won’t require a PlayStation Plus subscription.

There have been no new updates regarding the Caravan Stories release date, but fans are hoping for an announcement before the end of August.

“Discover vast open prairies, mystical forests as far as the eye can see, barren lands covered in rocky outcroppings,” the official game description reads.

“There are many beings living in the fantastic world of Iyarr — those who fly, those who walk, those who leap, and those who prowl.

“Form bonds with the many creatures living in this land from the back of your magical fortress, the Caravan.

“Together, challenge the mysterious Enigma — the greatest enemy of all! And make allies with over 100 different species of beasts to be tamed to build up your team and explore new lands.

“In addition to the main story explored by the player’s avatar, the unique stories possessed by each of the over 100 heroes will be connected like puzzle pieces to unleash the mystery of the world. So get ready this July and join us on this grand adventure.”
