Louise Minchin: BBC Breakfast host makes bizarre outfit revelation with co-star Dan Walker

Louise Minchin, 50, took the opportunity to share a photo alongside her colleague Dan Walker, 42, yesterday as they presented the news on the BBC. The pair looked very serious in the candid snap as they both stared down the camera lens. The BBC Breakfast star sported a blue and white polka dot dress while Dan rocked his usual smart shirt and jacket. Louise hinted their chic attire was not down to a stylist as she admitted the TV regulars do not have that luxury.

In view of her 162,000 followers, she captioned the photo: “Good morning, time for #bbcbreakfast, and today it ‘almost’ looks like we have a stylist. (We don’t!).”

Fans flocked to comment on the post, with many giving compliments to Louise’s graceful look.

One person commented: “The colour of your dress really suits you Louise. I love it.”

Another person quipped: “Does @mrdanwalker have a meeting with the bank manager or something?”

While a third person added: “Good morning to you both, you really brighten up my morning.”

Elsewhere, social media users came to Louise’s defence after her co-host posted a cheeky video of them on the set of BBC Breakfast.

Dan shared a video where he could be seen holding a mug of tea as his co-sat sat alongside him.

As he raised the mug, Louise’s eyebrows lifted at the same time in the humorous clip.

In view of his 573,000 followers, he said: “I have linked @louiseminchin’s eyebrows to my #BBCbreakfast mug.”

Despite many people seeing the funny side to the cheeky video, others claimed Dan had “too much time on his hands”.

One person asked: “Are you in a giddy mood this morning guys?”

Another person quipped: “Brilliant. Where do you find the time. Poor Louise, it’s like working with a toddler. Lol. Keep it up!”

While a third person added: “Too much time on your hands!”

However, one person appeared to appreciate Dan’s creativity as his co-star retweeted the video.

She captioned the post: “Clever.”

BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One.
