Elon Musk SHOCK: Leaked email reveal astonishing details about SpaceX founder’s firm

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO gave three main “productivity recommendations” to his Tesla employees while laying out a number of changes to made to the Model 3. In the email obtained by Jalopnik, Mr Musk outlined there wasn’t a need for excessive meetings and any meetings should be kept short. He added it’s rude to keep people in meetings as it wastes their time.

Musk wrote: “Excessive meetings are the blight of big companies and almost always get worse over time.

“Please get of all large meetings, unless you’re certain they are providing value to the whole audience, in which case keep them very short.

“Walk out of a meeting or drop off a call as soon as it is obvious you aren’t adding value.

“It is not rude to leave, it is rude to make someone stay and waste their time.”

Mr Musk went on to say “don’t use acronyms or nonsense words for objects, software or processes at Tesla” as it has affected communication within the company.

He added any manager who tries to enforce a “chain of command” will find themselves working elsewhere.

He went on to thank his team for “accomplishing miracles every day”.

Mr Musk’s email comes after a video circulated online of a Tesla Model 3 car exploding due to “autopilot failure”.

The car was on autopilot when it crashed into a tow truck in Russia on August 10.

Driver, Alexey Tretiyakov, and his two children escaped the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames.

However, have said drivers should keep their hands on the wheel at all times in case of emergencies.

Their website states: “Current Autopilot features require active driver supervision and do not make the vehicle autonomous.”
