Chris Evans: Virgin Radio host 'not getting much voice-over work' since Top Gear

Chris told listeners he used to get loads of voice-over work before he hosted the car show. The 53-year-old explained how he was the voice-over on many famous adverts including Morrisons and Rice Krispies. He said he was Snap from Snap, Crackle and Pop.

Speaking on his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show, Chris said: “I’m not getting much voice-over work nowadays, I’ll be honest with you.

“I used to get loads.

“I’ve not had a voice-over job for like three years since Top Gear that’s what it was.

“That’s what it is! I used to get loads before Top Gear.

“I was Morrisons. I did Morrisons Christmas adverts and then Ant and Dec came along and they had a go.

“Del Monte? That was me! I was Del Monte.

“Sugarpuffs? I was Snap from Snap, Crackle and Pop.

“Nothing, nothing! For three years.”

Chris’ outburst comes after he confessed his wife’s bum “doesn’t look big in anything”.

The statement arose after being asked how he would answer the question should it come up.

He joked with Lee Mack saying he would “never” answer the question. Chris said: “Who answers that question?”

He went on to compliment his wife, Natasha Shishmanian, and her posterior.

He said: “My wife’s bum does’t look big in anything.

“Honestly that’s the answer.”

He went on to say he would tell her: “Sweetheart your bum never looks big.“
