Queen: Brian May reveals 'stunning' news about UK Tour of We Will Rock You

Queen area s much in demand now as they were in their heyday with Freddie Mercury. Brian May is currently on a major North American Tour with Roger Taylor and new frontman Adam Lambert. The band is once again playing huge stadiums to packed out crowds. After North America, the tour moves on to Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. But what about UK fans?

While we wait (and hope) for British dates, fans can still indulge their love for Queen’s incredible music when a second huge UK tour starts of their iconic musical, We Will Rock You.

Brian May says: “This is a stunning state-of-the art new-look production of WWRY – but of course the original story is now more relevant than ever. We’re confident WWRY fans will love revisiting the world’s first true Rock Theatrical, and a whole new generation will now discover the VIBE!”

The tour excitingly hits the road next month. Full details below.

We Will Rock You opens for one night only in Bromley on September 21.

From there it heads to Ipswitch and then all the way up and down the land until July next year, where it wraps up in Reading.

Unlike Bohemian REhapsody, WWRY is a fictional creation set in a bleak future where music has been outlawed, with story and script by Ben Elton.

The show works in an incredible 24 Queen classics, including We Are The Champions, Radio Ga Ga, I Want To Break Free, Somebody To Love, Killer Queen, Don’t Stop Me Now, Under Pressure, Bohemian Rhapsody, Another One Bites The Dust and the title song.

The show is also currently touring North America, with a second Italian tour announced for later this year and a world tour kicking off at the end of 2020.

Any way the wind blows seems to be blowing absolutely everywhere, as Queen fever rides the waves of Bohemian Rhapsody and band’s own live performance renaissance.
