Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane teases Neymar transfer deal

Real Madrid have already splashed the cash on a number of new signings including the £90million addition of Eden Hazard from Chelsea.

The La Liga giants’ spending may not be over there as they have been linked with Man Utd’s Paul Pogba and Neymar, of Paris Saint-Germain.

Spanish clubs have until September 2 to finalise their squads for the rest of the year.

And Zidane hinted that Real could be making a move for ex-Barcelona star Neymar.

“Neymar is not [in our squad] but until September 2, anything can happen,” the Frenchman said.

“We are with the squad that we have and we are only thinking about that.”

Neymar has been trying to force his way back to La Liga this transfer window.

PSG fans vented their frustration at the Brazilian last night by displaying banners which read ‘Neymar, go away’ during they 3-0 victory over Nimes.

But head coach Thomas Tuchel is hopeful his side can fan off the interest from Real.

“The reality is that we must find solutions without Neymar,” Tuchel said.

“It is not possible to lose Neymar and find another boy who does the same as him.

“I don’t have news (about his future), it can be good news. He may stay. But it’s not over, we have to be realistic.

“Things are between the PSG, Neymar and the other club.

“I love Neymar, I want to continue playing with him, with Kylian [Mbappe] and with everyone.

“If he leaves, I won’t sleep.”
