Piers Morgan: 'Thanks D**k’ Star hits back at Pointless’ Richard Osman’s ‘vomiting’ jibe

Pointless host, Richard Osman, 48, couldn’t help but make a cheeky comment aimed at Piers Morgan, 54, on Twitter yesterday.

The presenter retweeted a news article which was posted with the headline: “People vomiting after chemical incident at Worthing pier.”

Richard saw the opportunity to make a dig at the Good Morning Britain star, in view of his 806,000 followers.

“Piers making people vomit is nothing new,” he wrote.

Richard’s followers were thrilled with his quick-wit with one replying to his post: “And Richard Osman wins Twitter today.”

“You’re on fire mate,” another said.

A third wrote: “Brace yourself for some serious backlash Richard.”

Piers certainly didn’t seem too happy with Richard’s dig and replied to his tweet: “Thanks D**k.”

Richard replied: “I’m talking about helter-skelters.”

Meanwhile, Piers, who is currently in California, United States whilst enjoying his break away from Good Morning Britain, addressed his “weight loss” last week.

The ITV star shared an article with his Instagram and Twitter followers, which detailed his apparent two stone weight loss.

The piece claimed it was noticeable Piers had shed the pounds, due to his neck and face looking “slimmer”.

It also noted Piers uploaded a picture of his Peloton exercise bike recently, alluding to the “secret” of his success.

Piers addressed the alleged weight loss news to his millions of fans, and joked his torso “will be surprised to hear” about it.

Expressing his shock at reading about his own weight loss, Piers captioned the snap: ““I have????!!”

He joked: “Wow, this is great news. My torso will be so surprised to hear it too. Thanks @woman___magazine!”

Piers has ben sharing many envy-inducing snaps to his Instagram as he enjoys his break away.

In his most recent picture, the Life Stories host could be seen posing on a bike alongside one of his three sons, Stanley.

The father-of-four captioned the mid-ride photo: “Tour de Santa Monica. @stanley.morgan.”

Piers will be back presenting on Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid in September.
