After the whole Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth split and the singer’s apparent fling with Brody Jenner’s ex, some toxic, homophobic people are missing the point and using the messy situation to try and prove a point. But after seeing one such comment that blamed the breakup on the fact that Miley is bisexual, singer Halsey, who also identifies as bi, could not help but epically clap back at the troll.
Not too long after a rep confirmed the split via E! News, pictures of Miley and Kaitlynn Carter kissing surfaced on social media.
Seeing this, one user tweeted: ‘#MileyCyrus splitting and allegedly cheating on Liam with a woman confirms that you shouldn’t date bi people. Not offensive, just true. Bi is greedy and never satisfied.’
Obviously, that is still offensive, despite that one useless ‘no offense’ expression people use as if it erases their intentions.
Halsey was quick to respond to the judgmental post, saying: ‘Doesn’t surprise me that ur saying this and ur page has u crying about Brie Larson too! Stop being afraid of women who aren’t afraid to do what pleases them and not other people :-).’
Miley’s always been open about her sexuality and getting married to a man.
In her words, she explained her relationship with Liam as: ‘unique. It’s so complex, modern, and new. I don’t think we are in a place where people would get it. I am in a hetero relationship, but I am still very sexually attracted to women. People become vegetarians for health reasons, but bacon’s still f***ing good, and I know that.’
But she made it clear that the reason she was with the actor was that she felt he was the best for her and ‘had [her] back the most.’

Sometimes, however, people just break up and that has nothing to do with one’s sexuality.
