Ben Shephard: ‘Never spoken about it before’ Tipping Point host addresses secret 'TWIN'

Ben Shephard, 44, was sent a screenshot of his Wikipedia page on Twitter, which spoke about his apparent twin called Ken.

One person tweeted the ITV star: “Was googling #chriskamara as he’s on @itv2 #throughthekeyhole & on the ‘people also search for’ was @benshephard so I clicked & I found this #absolutelyhilarious #ken.”

The piece of information said: “Shephard married Annie Perks on 25 March 2004, and the couple have two sons.

“His twin brother Ken Shephard hosts ITV show ‘Tipping Point’.”

Ben, who does not have a twin, addressed the hilarious false information and joked he had never spoke about his “secret twin” beforehand.

He replied to the message: “I’ve never spoken about my secret twin before, I’ve got no idea how someone found out.

“But now it’s out there I feel so much better.”

He added: “Thanks Wikipedia – Ken wouldn’t exist without you!”

One quick-witted fan with the surname Shephard said: “So mum kept that from us then!”

Another joked: “I heard a rumour it was his triplet #LenShephard who hosted The Chase.”

A third said: “So what does #Benshepherd do when #toppingpoint is on,gotta laugh .”

On Good Morning Britain recently, Ben made a very surprising revelation whilst discussing Playboy magazine in a debate titled Playboy: A force for good?

Guests, Melinda Messenger and Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace, were quizzed about their views on the controversial magazine and they differed in opinions.

The latest issue of the magazine, founded by the late Hugh Hefner, features discussions on gender fluidity and an in-depth chat with the founder of the MeToo Movement.

Melinda said: “It’s a sex magazine it’s aimed at men. It’s sexual objectification.”

However, former Big Brother contestant Aisleyne didn’t agree with Melinda’s views and said: “It’s consensual objectification.”

She added: “I’d have it on my coffee table.”

Melinda went on: ”Don’t try and pretend it’s about empowerment.”

Speaking about whether getting naked for a cause is up their street, Ben admitted he would be up for it.

“If I felt like it was important enough and I felt comfortable enough in my body, then undoubtedly,” he spilled.

“If I was comfortable enough in that situation and felt proud that I could do it then too right.”
