Meghan Markle news: The two things Harry’s wife does daily to stay in shape as a new mum

Meghan Markle is three-months in to life as a first time mum, to her son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. The former Suits actress has always been a fan of one particular type of exercise, and is said to have picked up her passion post-birth. Meghan, who is married to Prince Harry, 34, is now able to enjoy fitness in the comfort of her own home, after their cottage at Frogmore underwent an extensive re-vamp. Yet what is this routine, which the Duchess of Sussex is said to practise daily?

Meghan is believed to be juggling first time motherhood with yoga and meditation, with US Weekly claiming she has an “equipped yoga studio at Frogmore.”

The source added: “What she loves most about the practice is that it helps her switch off and wind down.”

They added Meghan has “taught Harry a few moves” in the Windsor studio.

Meanwhile, royal author Katie Nicholl added: “I hear that yoga is very much on her post-birth fitness regime – nothing too strenuous.

“Before she fell pregnant, you know, Meghan was very fit… but she has been taking it easy… the whole approach has been holistic, it has been gentle.

“Meghan hasn’t been hitting the gym. She hasn’t been in any hurry to get back in shape.”

It was previously reported how American actress Meghan is reportedly being taught boy mother Doria Ragland, who is a yoga instructor, is teaching the duchess postpartum yoga (designed for new mothers) and baby yoga.

She is also said to have been going on walks around Windsor Great park with tot Archie, who was born on May 6.

Meanwhile, Express.co.uk recently reported how Meghan’s fashion sense had shifted since becoming a parent.

Stylist Melita Latham analysed photos of the Duchess from before she became a mum to the styles she’s recently worn, and she told Express.co.uk that the Duchess’ style has become more “relaxed.”

Last month, Meghan was pictured at a polo match in Berkshire wearing an oversized khaki dress.

Melita explained: “Since becoming a mum, it’s only natural to want to hide her mummy tummy initially especially being in the public eye.

“You can see this with her fashion choices of late – the khaki green flowing dress, which is very low key and doesn’t figure hug. “The last thing she will want is to feel uncomfortable in the clothes she wears.”

“All new mums will tell you the elation they feel when they shimmy back into their perfect pair of fitted jeans or pre-pregnancy clothes.”

Following the birth of her son, Meghan was pictured at Wimbledon 2019 in a pair of jeans and a white blazer.

Melita revealed that Meghan chose this outfit to feel good, after having a baby.
