Melania Trump 'horrified' in shock footage as Donald 'brags' about El Paso crowd size

Donald and Melania Trump recently visited Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, to pay their respects following last weekend’s mass shooting. However, during their visit to a hospital in El Paso, Donald Trump spoke to first responders about his crowd size. Footage shows the US President saying: “I was here three months ago, we had a speech.

“That was some crowd. We had twice the number outside. And then you had this crazy Beto.

“Beto had like 400 people in a parking lot, they said his crowd was wonderful.”

Twitter users claimed Melania Trump looked “horrified” towards the start of the footage.

The video shows Melania Trump initially smiling, with her facial expression becoming more serious as Donald begins talking about his speech.

One Twitter user posted: “Melania is horrified that Trump brags about crowd size in El Paso”.

Another said: “As Trump starts talking about crowd size Melania’s expression says it all.”

A third commented: “Really Trump? Really… you’re supposed to be comforting victims and their families.. but instead you want to talk about crowd size?Really? And Melania standing there!”

On Thursday, Melania Trump tweeted: “I met many incredible people in Dayton, Ohio & El Paso, Texas yesterday. Their communities are strong and unbreakable. @potus and I stand with you!”

One user replied: “Thank you FLOTUS for all that you do. We love you and President Trump.”

Another added: “Thanks for travelling to my native hometown. I valued your visit. You are welcome back anytime.”

Speaking from Washington on Wednesday morning, Trump said: “I think my rhetoric brings people together, our country is doing incredibly well, China is not doing well.

“If you look at the trade situation China just admitted yesterday that they’ve been a currency manipulator, first time they’ve ever been called out. Companies are moving out of China by the thousands and our country’s doing very well.”

During a speech from Washington on Monday, President Trump called for capital punishment to be delivered “quickly and decisively” and without “years of delay” for those who commit mass murders and hate crimes.

The US President said: “We must make sure that those judged to pose a grave risk to public safety do not have access to firearms. And if they do those firearms can be taken through rapid due process. That I why I have called for Red Flag laws – also known as extreme risk protection orders.

“Today I am also directing the Department for Justice to propose legislation ensuring those who commit hate crimes and mass murders face the death penalty, and this capital punishment is delivered quickly, decisively and without years of needless delay. These are just a few of the areas of cooperation that we can pursue.”

He added: “I am open and ready to listen to discuss all ideas that will actually work and make a very big difference. Republicans and Democrats have proven we can join together in a bipartisan fashion to address this plague.”
