Real Madrid make Paul Pogba transfer decision ahead of European deadline

According to Marca, Pogba was Real boss Zinedine Zidane’s top priority but he is now looking at different solutions after the end of the Premier League summer transfer window.

Los Blancos are now keeping tabs on Ajax star midfielder Donny Van de Beek who has reportedly agreed personal terms with the La Liga giants.

Real Madrid will now have to come to an agreement with Ajax for Van de Beek ahead of the new campaign.

The Madrid club is also said to be eyeing Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar who has also attracted interest from rivals Barcelona, who wish to re-sign him.

Real’s new interests could mean that Pogba won’t be leaving Old Trafford this summer.

The France international cast doubt on his future recently as he hinted that he may seek for a new challenge in his career.

The star midfielder said: “After this season and everything that happened this season, with my season being my best season as well…

“I am thinking of this – to have a new challenge somewhere else.”

The Premier League transfer window, though, has slammed shut and Manchester United haven’t signed a new midfielder.

Therefore, United won’t be keen on letting Pogba go especially after Ander Herrera’s departure to PSG.

The Red Devils only managed to complete three signings ahead of the new Premier League season.

The Old Trafford outfit landed Daniel James from Swansea for £15million.

Former Crystal Palace star Aaron Wan-Bissaka followed in a whopping £50m deal.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side also managed to buy their top target Harry Maguire for a staggering £80m from Leicester, which made him the most expensive defender of all time.
