Xbox Live server status for new Xbox One error code and sign-in problems

Xbox Live servers are currently down, leaving Xbox One owners unable to play games online.

The Xbox Live server status makes grim reading for fans, who have complained about not being able to access online multiplayer.

Independent website Down Detector has received thousands of reports that Xbox Live isn’t working.

The outage tracker monitors social mentions around certain topics to detect when services go down across the world.

The Down Detector outage map shows that the Xbox Live issues are mainly affecting users in the US, although large parts of Europe have also gone down.

It’s the second time the service has gone offline in the past 24 hours.

This is understandably leaving fans feeling frustrated, as they begin to express their feelings.

One fan writes: “I’d like to play but y’know your serves are down and have been down since yesterday soo…”

Another echoes the sentiment, tweeting: “It’s ridiculous how much money myself and many many more people around the world pay to be able to play Xbox and the servers go down every other week, it’s a little annoying when you can’t use a service you pay for every couple days for hours at a time.”

One fan even threatens to leave Xbox One for PS4: “The servers are STILL down! I’m gonna switch to ps4 at this point.”

And you should definitely feel sorry for this Xbox user, who can’t play his favourite online games on his day off.

“Kind of upset xbox live is down and it’s my day off of work,” the tweet reads.

Microsoft is yet to acknowledge today’s outage on Twitter, having only fixed the last one just hours ago.

“Update incoming – We’ve heard from our investigative teams that there has been improvement, however things are still being worked on,” reads a previous Xbox Support tweet.

“As always, we’ll be sure to give another update once we know more.”

Express Online will update the article once we know more about the cause of the outage and when things will be back online.
