Camila Cabello is super hot right now, but what’s even more popular than Camila is Shawmila — or the newest rumored couple, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes. Though there have been plenty of photos and videos showing the two laying on plenty of affection in public, neither has confirmed that they are a couple. Unfortunately for fans, Camila didn’t expressly state that she was in a relationship with Shawn when Variety featured her as one of their Young Hollywood cover stars, but she did talk about Shawn and also gave fans plenty to discuss as she described herself as recently falling in love.
Fans will easily read between the lines and most will draw their own conclusions that Camila is speaking about Shawn. First, Camila spoke about her first album and how she has grown and changed over time. Then she began talking about being in love. As Camila just ended her relationship with Matthew Hussey, fans are certain she is speaking about Shawn Mendes.
Camila told the following to the outlet.
“Falling in love is like an infinite amount of levels and layers and angles. I fell in love and just opened up. Everything was written in present moment.”

Though Camila didn’t give fans exactly what they wanted to hear — to confirm a relationship with Shawn Mendes, she did speak out about her friendship with Shawn and discussed knowing him for a very long time. Their Senorita collaboration has skyrocketed on the charts and has currently become one of the most popular songs worldwide.
Camila shared the following about Shawn Mendes.
“I’ve known Shawn for such a long time, and it’s so much fun getting to work and do things with somebody who means a lot to you.”

Camila also opened up about her life in the spotlight and made it clear that she doesn’t feel very comfortable living her life in the public spotlight.
