Emmerdale's Laura Norton lost THREE stone cutting this out of her diet

Laura Norton, 36, appears on British screens as Kerry Wyatt in Emmerdale.

The actress has lost a lot of weight in recent years.

She has slimmed down to a slender three stone.

Laura quit one particular food to shed the weight, a fizzy drink.

The star has lost 42 lbs since she started acting in ITV’s Emmerdale in 2012.

Her main diet secret simply involved quitting Coca-Cola.

Speaking to The Mirror, Laura said: “At its worse, I used to drink two-litre bottles of Coke a day. I know now how much sugar is in it.”

She was drinking an incredible extra 212 grams of sugar each day.

A two litre bottle of Coke contains a whopping 800 calories, a number that might shock many.

Because of this Laura lost a stone quickly, simply after ditching the fizzy drinks.

“I think he just thought it had gone too far,” she added.

“It was so much caffeine, so much sugar. You get a bit older and weight is harder to lose.

“Then I cut the Coca-Cola out and started to notice the difference and then just decided to keep it up.”

However, since she lost the weight from the fizzy drinks Laura has began a health diet and exercise regimen.

She now works out four times a week.

Another British TV star, Gordon Ramsay’s weight loss has impressed many too.

The chef has lost an amazing four stone, but has he followed any particular diet?

The TV chef opened up to reveal he slimmed down from 19st 4lb to a lean 15st 10lb with a specific diet plan.

When speaking to the Today Show, he said: “I’m very good now at eating five times day, but small amounts as opposed to big breakfast, big lunch and big dinner.”

By changing his portion sizes and how often he would eat, Gordon managed to trim his waistline and he posted online an example of when he ate.
